Rev. Melanie Burns

Rev. Melanie was a founding member of New Thought Community Church.  In 1996 she received her ministerial license from Religious Science International and became an ordained minister of Religious Science in 2002. From 1996-98 she was a staff minister at NTC and became pastor of the Religious Science Church in Ft. Myers, FL in 1998. In 1999, she founded the Esprit Center for Inspired Living, Religious Science Naples, where she was pastor until September 2008.revmelanie

She is a compassionate, energetic and effective speaker and practitioner who joyfully empowers her students and clients with the Religious Science belief system, empowering them to make significant life changes. Her personal mission is to assist others in their quest to reach their highest potential as creative and loving beings. One of her greatest gifts as a spiritual educator is to present complex philosophical concepts in a simple and meaningful manner in a sometimes lighthearted and humorous context.  She is a talented story teller having won international awards.   She teaches workshops and classes worldwide on the subjects of spiritual healing, creative genius, team building, spirited play and spirit/mind/body movement. Rev. Melanie's open and diverse approach to life attracts a wide-ranging audience of all ages, cultures, backgrounds and faiths.

She currently serve International Centers for the Spiritual Living as a co chair for the 2010 Leadership  Gathering and on the Global Services Team for the past 6 years.

Rev. Melanie is available for private counseling and prayer treatment sessions, weddings, birth blessings, memorials, rites of passage and inspirational speaking engagements. Her educational background includes a B.A. in Communications - University of Wisconsin. She has taught at local organizations such as: CardinalStritch College, the YWCA, and Milwaukee Public Schools.
